Olafur Eliasson

This is an amazing creation by Olafur Eliasson designed to help people in poorer areas to gain access to light with out it being toxic, he held a huge exhibition at the Tate where you would view the exhibition in darkness and use your little sun to see the works. There was also a section where you could use your little sun to create a piece of light graffiti which would be projected around the Tate. Every little sun that is sold in a big city is much more expensive than the further out you go to cover the cost in poorer areas. This project was huge and then went on to the poorer children making their own videos showing how they used the little sun in their own environment. I thought this was a touching experiment and also its interaction between art and it helping people was brilliant.
