Christmas tree in DADA studio

This is taken from my friends art exhibition I went to see on Friday. Using string and found materials and combining everything as one. The way he attached all the materials together was by using what was already there he didn't use any adhesive to bond objects together and connected the string to the structure of the building using objects like door handles, radiators and light switches.          

This is Ryan butlers work he is a 1st year student on the fine art course at teesside uni, his work influences me a lot. He uses a cubed frame with different coloured taut string inside creating a sense of illusion.

boyle familey

The Boyle family make casts of landscapes and then reproduce what they have cast to make it look as realistic as possible, I am interested in this act as I want to make some realistic casts of brick and flooring for my house that I am working on.
